Dishonored, Bioshock, Borderlands, STALKER, Deus Ex: GOTY edition, Dead Island, DayZ, Starcraft 2, Guild Wars 2, Command & Conquer 3, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, Dragon Age, Company of Heroes, Dead Space, TES3: Morrowind, TES4: Oblivion, TES5: Skyrim, Saints Row The Third ...
which is the best 3 of those?
C&C 3 and Skyrim are pretty good. Depends what type of games you're into.
well anything but not FPS games
Looked at the Assassin's Creed trilogy?
yeah, just finished ac4 yday
Dishonored - Kind of FPS but more about sneaking and using a knife. More of an RPG
Bioshock, Borderlands, STALKER - All FPS, but Borderlands and STALKER are open world, lots to do in them
Dead Island, DayZ - Zombie Apocalypse FPS, but they're more about scavenging for weapons and materials and just surviving. Pretty hard to actually get guns.
Starcraft 2, Company of Heroes, Command & Conquer 3, Command & Conquer RA3 - Good, decent RTS games
Dragon Age - Tactics based RPG
Dead Space - 3rd Person horror RPG
TES3, TES4, TES5 - All RPGs. Incredibly big RPGs with a LOT of content.
Guild Wars 2 - MMORPG, free once you buy the game (i.e. no subscription like WoW)
Saints Row 3 - Sandbox game like GTA, except Saints Row likes to make everything so incredibly ridiculous it's hilariously funny.

Personally I enjoy Guild Wars 2, Starcraft 2, and TES5: Skyrim
The Walking Dead, and The Walking Dead 2.
Spec Ops : The Line
Those have great stories.

Those have great stories.
Metro last light 2033 is pretty good if your into those semi scary games
Sid Meier's Civilization 5, Dead Space Series, Borderlands 2, DayZ, State Of Decay, Left 4 Dead 2, League Of Legends, Terraria, Mirror's Edge, Don't Starve,
what do you guys think about skyrim?
Overrated, fun at the begin but boring if you play for a longer time, glitchy and buggy.
Try something new. Try Spec Ops: The Line. I promise , you won't regret it.
dont rly wanna play shooter games
Play The Walking Dead, or The Walking Dead : 400 days, or The Walking Dead Season 2
gonna try skyrim first. Then saints row 4. might try one of those zombie games also
Portal and Portal 2 , Mirrors Edge. Mortal Kombat, you can try these too!

Anything made in the last 5 years worth mentioning has basically already been mentioned, but here's a few alternative things you can try.
Emulate console games
Populous: The Beginning (look for popre.net's matchmaker for online play)
Alan Wake
Minecraft (yeah, it's as old as an over-played radio song, but I still find enjoyment in it once in a while)
Battlefront (old star wars C&C game)
LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth I and II (old LOTR C&C game)
And then, though they're probably already said, here are the games I play:
Civ V
The Sims 3
Skyrim
League of Legends
Don't Starve
Portal
Path of Exile
ARMA
Rome Total War II
