I am so obsessed. I know like every lyric in the musical. Entire casts. I'm even enough of a snob to say I didn't care for the movie.

 

Stars is the absolute best song in the whole musical. That note drop on "fallen from god" sends shivers down my spine. Javert is my hero.

 

Oh, god. I thought you said the movie for a second and I cringed (Russell Crowe). Stars is absolutely incredible. You should check out the version by Norm Lewis, otherwise known as the black guy. Javert is my favorite character and I love Norm Lewis. That is, if you're into the musical.

One Day More and Stars are probably my favorite, as much as I want to be a hipster and say some absurd song no body knows

I was about to defend russell crowe's "Stars", but I listened to it again, and if you're not watching the acting as well, he's the worst singer you'll ever heard. There's no emotion in his voice, and stars is a really really emotional and obsessional song. He sounds bored
