Classic / Vet cape? Questions

I have created my account in early 2002 and I don't have a classic cape nor a vet cape, I was not active at all when this feature / Item came out and I am curious as how to obtain one, I think I get the point you have to be a vet or I guess have classic access, but does it appear in you're bags if you are eligible for it or is there someone I need to talk to or buy it from.

Sorry if I come off as 'stupid' in this post, but I honestly have no idea at this point and well I am just a curious person

Classic cape is if you have logged onto Runescape Classic atleast once, Talk to Aggie (or w/e the old hag is called inside the Varrock clothes shop)

The veteran cape is for four year old+ accounts I recall, you need to talk to Hans, if you are not eligible for it he will tell you how many days you need until you can receive one.

Vet cape is 5+ years, and make sure to bring money with you, they charge for the capes.

They should make a 10 year cape.

 

I thought if you had a classic cape and/or vet cape you have accesst to RSC already, am I wrong?

 

You can get the Classic cape as long as your account has, at some point, logged into RSC. This could be before Jagex removed the F2P RSC servers and locked/reset any and all accounts that were inactive for the six months following the discontinuation.

Unless you know for certain that you've logged into RSC within the past couple of years (since the reopening events began), it's possible that you don't have access to Classic but still are able to get the cape because your account has actually logged into RSC at some point in its history.

Just to make sure though, you tried logging into the "regular" classic servers, right? Not the Veteran server. If this is the case, then what I said above is the reason why you can't access RSC, unfortunately.

 

Damn, this is some duty. I had played constantly during 2001-2004 when it was the only available game (RS2 was not even created) and I can't play now. pretty dumb that I walk around with a classic and vet cape and have 0 access to the game, fuck fagex.

Apparently JaGeX has plans to release a 10 year cape soon.

you can still play runescape classic, google it and should be a link some where on the offical runescape website.

Guys, I am not that stupid, I tried logging in before i had the capes and thought maybe you had to redeem the cape to be able to, I do not have access.

If anyone has like a level 3 with access I would greatly appreciate someone selling it to me cheap.
