I honestly don't think you're going to be missing out, i don't believe US players will care about the Katana as it's not attractive.

It's like the golden hammer, when do you see anyone walking around with that?

It's not like the flamming skull you can wear with wealth to look good, it's worthless.

 

I think it looks pretty sexy >.> even though I don't like how it's being marketed.

 

There's abit of a difference between this and the hammer. Plus this is all based on the players view of the sword, we can tell you don't like it(since you've mentioned it twice already). This is all just another marketing campaign by Jagex and just like always any exclusive is usually seen something to grab with rs players.

 

And the UK players are left out. Another example of how Runescape is Jagex`s cashcow and they are milking it off all it has left . First the fishmask and now this what else could they possibly do now?

 

What purpose does it pose? People wont PvM nor PvP with it, serves the same meaning as any other holiday or special weapon; yo-yo, scythe, rubber chicken.

It's because you're so close to their establishment, as evidence has shown before, when UK players get mad they go and throw bricks through Jagex's window.

They're scared to take advantage of you, us "silly" Americans they could care less about. ^_^

 

Membership from amazon is around the same price as normal so it doesn't actually cost money. You can buy it from outside of the US but you need a creditcard :/

 

I don't understand why Jagex would have flaming skull and katana in such a short period of time.

Any way, I think it looks pretty awesome and might buy one.

 

They certainly could of milked more out of the flaming skull, but now already onto the katana is quite ridiculous

 

Yeah, although I think I did hear some where that flaming skull ends next week but not to sure.

 

I think I'll give this a miss. This promotional item doesn't really look that great imo, just like the barbed bow haha. Already a member for 3 more months with buying a flaming skull upgrade anyway.
