God created everything?

Oh ofcourse I'm not doubting in the slightest that even though the probability is small the model at which were basing this probability is immense and thus makes it a much more possible result.
but it doesn't take away the beauty of it's almost impossible nature, I mean, say if you saw someone walk through a wall right in front of your eyes. You would be surprised and amazed even though statistics says that it is possible even though the probability is infinitely small.

Let's take that example you just made.

A man walks through a wall right in front of your eyes. THAT would be a coincidence. You were there first, then the man walked through the wall. He could have walked through a wall anywhere in the world but instead he chose your location. There is a constant there; that you were next to him when he did it, that's what makes it an amazing coincidence. There is no constant when we are talking about the formation of life on the earth. It's not like our souls were wandering around looking for bodies to fill and suddenly life arose and evolved into humans so that we may live inside their shells. It's not a coincidence that life arose on a planet, it's inevitablility. We are only on earth because that's the planet that was "chosen" to support life. If Mars was "chosen" then we would be on Mars saying the same thing.

Ah but where is the fun in saying the possibility for both is valid? That's not thinking outside of the box, it's more like just admitting ignorance and leaving it be.

Debating is not about fun. It's about proving a point. It's not admitting ignorance, in fact it is the opposite. I am giving each side a chance, while most people take one side and never even glance over the evidence of the other side.

But there are too many randomized variables to say that Earth within itself isn't a coincidence. Yes it's an inevitability that a planet would arise that hold's the criteria to meet the probability of life, but just because we know it should happen doesn't make it any less of an amazing act. Take out the fact that we KNEW this would happen in one way or another and lets just pick apart the criteria for the possibility of life:
-A planet that can sustain an atmosphere, is a perfect distance away from a star to create a habitual environment for HUMANS (we won't deny the possibility of other species requiring possible different conditions if there are any others), has a water rich environment to allow the beginning of life to take place, and also can support H2O in a liquid form. These are only a few things that are required outh of the trillions of variable but lets just take these few.
Now each of these variables in correlation to the universe has below a billionth of a percent of ever occuring. Now yes to us this can't be seen as coincidence because well, we exist and thus we must conclude that we were the one planet that was to be created to support us, but we must not decrease the value of all the variables that seem so impossible that went into allowing us to be here. Yes they must happen eventually but it is still an amazing fact that they did happen and all at the same time and region of the universe no less.

Debating is not about fun. It's about proving a point. It's not admitting ignorance, in fact it is the opposite. I am giving each side a chance, while most people take one side and never even glance over the evidence of the other side.
It's fun if you find it fun =P and by admitting both parts have there own validity then yes you are giving each side a chance but also must realize to lean towards the side of truth, now if you can't take a side in those regards then your admitting your ignorance to the situation because if you have no internal disposition of what is the truth then how can you possibly defend either side much less both?
I'm not saying don't look at all the possibilities, as Sherlock Holmes put it "when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth" so yes in all good faith defend both side to the fullest and find all reasoning for it to be true because that is what both sides deserve, but if you don't already have some notion as to which to guide your form of thinking, then in the end nothing will be eliminated and nothing will be gained.

If god created everything... who created god..
Non-Serious= Obviously it was Chuck Norris, who when there was nothing Roundhouse kicked the nothing-ness and the power of that most powerful of kicks created god.

Serious= It's the age old mystery as to which came first, I mean even in scientists theories of the big bang we have to ask ourselves where the beginning matter came from, and if it was always there then what was the beginning like? We as humans crave for a beginning and an end because we can't handle the possibility of time not holding a grasp on the universe and it simply just being. We've gone farther back and believe that possibly the matter from the big bang was created from energy that was just floating around, but then we must ask where did that energy come from? It's a never ending cycle.

Nothing in the Bible will ever be proven true or false enough for everyone to believe the "other side," so to speak. Faith and belief are intangible, and are just ways of explaining how/why we're here. I don't look down upon religion because for all I know, it's true. It may not have as much backing as science (in my opinion) but it's created for the same reason and both should be shown equal respect until one is proven.

If we ever find out God did create everything, I'm not going to convert to Christianity or anything. That doesn't mean I won't acknowledge the fact that God is our creator, I'm just pretty against a lot of religious practices.

The Bible is meant to be nothing but a representation of the ideal Christian way of life. Notice how it has just about every single life lesson in it? The stories are not molded after fact, but instead of metaphor to get a point across. Quite ingenious if you ask me, but to this day it escapes me why so many take it as fact. Even Christians acknowledge what I've just said, it's the Creationists that take it literally (note that 90% of Creationists are also considered under the "average belt" of intelligence by today's standards).

Half of my entire family is strongly Catholic, but my grandfather loves astronomy and science of the past, future, and present. Creationists on the other hand denounce such activities and call them tricks (I remember reading a post by a Creationist reverend on a Christian forum that said that he didn't believe that stars were millions of miles away, he called that absurd. After more nonsensical rambling, he came to the conclusion that each star was a tiny diamond in the sky, only 80 or so kilometers above the ground.). That story was really surprising to me since you can find out the distance a star is from the Earth with basic physics.

then why is it that carbon dating shows materials millions of years old, even billions "4.4-billion-year-old zircon crystal

Also like tyro said before, carbon-14 dating can only date back to about 50,000-70,000 years ago. No where even close to being able to date objects from billions of years ago.

It still kinda helps his argument though since 50,000 at the minimum is still longer than christians interpret the bible timeline.
