[GNT] GOLEM being added to Coinbase?

There is a rumour that Coinbase is planning to add Golem (and Augur). There are many Reddit threads/posts talking about this.

"Not sure if anyone caught wind of this. But a leaked internal file from coinbase apparently shows it in a roadmap of coins to be added as they work toward becoming more of an exchange and less bitcoin centric." (The Golem Coinbase rumor • r/ethtrader)

Coinbase has stated that their business plan requires more alt coins (LINK HERE), they have no reason to not add GNT, it's a "top tier" coin. This will benefit Coinbase, as well as people looking to purchase and invest in some Golem quickly with no hassle.

Golem Brass is being released this month/early June. What will this do for Golem? Well.. only time can tell but I can assume that it will certainly have a positive affect on the price. Either way, Golem is an amazing project and it will thrive.

 

Would be very positive if that is true- more than likely a significant rise if added to Coinbase. I'll have to read more.

Seems unlikely to me that they would add Golem before coins like Nem or Dash. Might look into this more though, it could be true.

 

Agreed but most people thought Dash would be there a while ago but they added Litecoin. You never know .

This is how I think of it, either way GNT is going to rise when Brass is released so why not invest in it earlier. That's just me though.

 

Whether coinbase adds GNT or not isn't the question to be asking. It will be one of the cornerstones of the Ethereum ecosystem in years time and it will be a fantastic long term investment regardless of what coinbase does.

 

Of course. This will just boost the price up IF it does get added.

Could you explain the relationship between GNT and ETH? I should have invested in ETH when I had the chance... Can't believe it's where it is at already.

 

i'm fairly new to this- so take it with a grain of salt.

gnt is a "token" on the eth network (i believe). that network is a decentralized currency that will be absent from regulations from banks (USD, etc.)

Golem check out their site- it's the only source to get a true understanding for yourself, rather than someone else's opinion elsewhere. Nonetheless, there are some good bloggers, etc. that have good info.

Ethereum Project ETH site- same thing as above.

GNT implements "smart contracts", which supposedly make it easier (I haven't personally used it.) Tokens are coins (crypto), so 1 eth on its network is equivalent to 1 gnt on its network. correct me if I'm wrong. shares blockchains with the coin to make up for its lack thereof.

 

What do you mean by relationship? Do just mean what is GNT?

Could potentially see a drop in price from ETH if added to Coinbase due to an easier access point to get GNT. Nonetheless, could see no affect from this in regards to ETH price.

So Glide do you not seeing it going lower when brass is released?
