Giving D3 a stab - Veteran WoW player?

Howsit guys, Just looking for some advice here before I go and spend $99 (Unless there is some "Trial" version??)

I consider myself a bit of a veteran WoW player, played all through BC, lich and cata but have recently (few months ago) given up on the game. I have read countless reviews on D3 but none really answer the questions I want answered. Basically, i'm on the hunt for a good new game that I will enjoy. Coming from Blizzard and being quite a recent game D3 has kind of had a bit of a shine to me. I have never played any of the earlier versions so don't have much background knowledge. Just youtube videos, etc.

Anyway for you WoW players out there that have started playing D3, what are your honest opinions? Obviously I don't want something exactly like WoW, but still like that role model aspect of the game. Has it got endless content like WoW? Is the levelling system very similiar? Also i've heard on here that it's like single player??, what is that like?

I know its a bit of a hassle just for one game, but i'm looking for one decent game I can play and i've already spent hundrends on games i've just picked up and barely played (Aion, LOTRO, etc) but coming from Blizzard and the reputation of the previous versions of the game, this has really got me interested.

I find that the game is by far, the best I've ever played, all Diablo Games have been great and this one blew my mind.

Yah it's single player but you hardly notice. You can open your game o the public though so you can play with friends while carrying on your current stage. There's alo an online auction house.
It is by far the best game I've played and that's coming from a WOW player. It's challenging yet fun and not frustrating like WOW. However if your going o no life it it might end short,
Ist took me about 70 hours to Finish the Game And gear up but u could do this on all 5 classes so
70x5=350 hours. Feature Updates will expand that. However theres no monthly fee so there's no pressure if u take breaks once in a while.
