Rs Story?

Main idea: A thread seeing people's Runescape stories and how they've developed/fell off.

I was in the mood to read some threads/stories (Few paragraphs or more) of people on RS. About how they started RS (classic, 2, 3, rsps) or their duel arena life. Etc

I feel the thread could be powerful with just "your story" listed in that section.

Just a suggestion, if there's already some thread like this let me know

Without me having to search the internet looking for how players started their journey and ended or came back or got rich.

This is actually a pretty good suggestion, Jerky! I'd love to see "Runescape Storytelling" right next to Runescape General. I'd love to share my story and I'm sure others would as well!

 

Runescape 2007 Pictures, Videos & Progress Logs

 

I don't think it'd belong there. It's not a picture, video, nor a progress log.

 

"A thread seeing people's Runescape stories and how they've developed/fell off" is pretty much the same thing as a progress log.

 

I think it's a good idea, really. But I think it's something that be accommodated in within another section. As the user above said, there's already a thread for progress logs, so maybe it can be expanded and incorporated there (RS07 & RS3)

For starters, It's either RS3 or 07, pictures, video logs, and progress.

There's no "story" involved.

The main point here being for what I'm going for is a "story"

Example... A friend of mine told me about rs in 2001, I started this etc... When 2005 came I quit for a while was busy with irl stuff etc.. Came back in 2010 rs was different, titled "RS2" etc...

Multiple stories and features like this that connect. Not a progress log of your current progress in RS.

Some people here don't even play anymore. They wouldn't post in that RS pics vid section.
Some use it as a commission and money making job.

Why not here everyone's "story." How they started rs, got into the game really loved it, found a fun thing to do, quit rs and used for profit, or currently still playing?

 

I guess this isn't a suggestion we should implement somewhere. A thread can be easily made regarding this. I'd feel weird supporting or being against the creation of one thread. Go ahead and make it I'd say, maybe just in the RuneScape 3/07 General section.

 

@Wortel , true it does feel weird but I'm usually always scrolling through sythe looking for stuff to read. I either go read reports, acc sales, or anime things.

If there was it's own thread listed as "Tell a Story" or "Runescape Story" that would be another place I'd visit.

Not so in the Rs3/07 general section but it's own section. If you kind of get the idea I'm on.

 

I do get what you're saying but I disagree a new section should be made of this. I think there are plenty of sections where such thread would fit in. In my opinion a section for just story telling about RuneScape activities would be a bit too much.

I was also thinking it could be posted under Off-Topic, named "Tell a Story", that way it's not just RS stories.

That way it could be implemented with RS stories, irl stories of blah blah, or whatever you may have a story about.

Go ahead and make a thread for it in the general section. If it runs well, we can give it a separate section.
