Or just give the CDT Leader a bunch of minis to hand out before the event even starts so they don't abuse their powers/have to rely or pester admins about it.

 

and the ability to give out Sythe Gold + upload miniranks to the database, support.

 

No support, if anything give globals perms, SOMEONE of the globals are a but more active than admins. Also @Sythe you said it yourself globals are held as the same rank as admins in your new rotating style

Support, this needs to be done if we want people to actually care about these events and the prizes and not just go "oh another event where I wait weeks to get my prizes, great ill join"

 

i'm talking about event miniranks, such as the special snowflake minirank, don't think an admin has added it to the minirank datebase yet.

It's easier to demote and rotate inactive staff. Clearly threads have been made lately cos admins are visibly doing nothing, like superflu's thread about admins posting what they do, or suggestions to post the staff internal reviews or whtever they call it. Shit on this site can't work if higher staff aren't involved.


Rewarding sythe gold and prizebox and minis is a less then five minute job for admins. If they can't do a simple task something's wrong behind them scenes everyone's talking about.

I remember when I won the Minecraft pokemons; Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, etc. Took like 2 months to actually get them and I got severely depressed because I didnt receive them all that time.

Dont make Mootrucks have such powers though, he is very irresponsible. Give it to like active global mods or something.

 

I don't know how i'm irresponsible but giving global mods the powers if the current CDT Leaders can't be trusted with them would be fine with me, I just want stuff to get done on a some what timely manner.

 

Let me explain something about the whole minirank system:

First of all, no one can add miniranks into the system except for @Matthew and @Sythe - this will never change because no one will ever have access to the system. So @Buyacc this is just something that requires constant pestering of Richard, eventually he'll get it done.

Second, yes adding miniranks is VERY easy, especially when CDT users list the user IDs, so if admins aren't doing it, then it's just a lack of work being done on their part. @Admins, I love you guys but cmon, we all know it ain't difficult to do <3.

Third, I'm HIIIIGHLY doubtful that anyone but "trusted" admins will be give User Center access. I even had my UC perms revoked for a long period of time because people thought I was spawning and selling miniranks. It's fun to have access and can easily come of as abusive to the community and Richard and Matthew don't want to deal with the headache. It's highly doubtful anyone will be give access, even globals @Mootrucks

That being said, I don't think the CDT leader will be given it. I know I haven't offered an alternate solution but I just wanted to shed some light on the situation so maybe other options can be thought of?

 

Also @Mootrucks unless things have changed, admins can't even give out SytheGold - that's just Matthew/Richard

Global mods should be allowed to be involved with this if anything.

 

Replace @Sythe with the CDT leader

 

No community team leader should have access to the user center where they can give out sythe gold / mini ranks to members.
If we bug the admins constantly about getting the things done, they do it. I'm sure they're not just sitting there and ignoring us.
I have frequent conversations with Admins and I know for sure they're not just being lazy or doing absolutely nothing. Even though we might not see it they're actually doing work.

So therefore no support on CDT leader getting the permissions for these things, If Richard gives a global mod access to these things then that's fine.

 

Only thing about this is that multiple admin were tagged in certain sections daily for almost 2 weeks, so your theory of they're not just being lazy seems somewhat void. They were bugged constantly and nothing was done. And the things that they are being tagged in are the very "behind the scenes" work that they claim to be doing all the time.
