GFX suggestion.

I don't play any games or anything i just come to sythe for the graphics section. I have a suggestion on graphics though. A few years ago i belonged to a place called globalsigalliance. Strictly about photoshop and signatures etc. One thing they did was ranked their users abilities. People would still showcase pieces and all new related work. But once they had X amount of pieces they could submit to have reviewed to have a certain graphics rank that could be displayed via mini rank. Such as beginner, novice, advanced etc. I was thinking it would be something nice to implement into sythe as it would bring more graphics into the section as well as more useful feedback on pieces to improve abilities. Just a thought.

 

There is graphic section participant minirank which is obtained by posting I think 10 times per week, one hard thing in GFX section is there's many of new people with good skills and submitting X amount of work is hard to do, for example, if someone had to submit 100 pieces of work for an rank, everyone would spam with it instead of actually doing orders. And yeah, who would count that much pictures? No support for rank.
Good way would be awarding people for example for running GFX shop for 6months+ with breaks no longer than week or getting certain amount of replies to the thread.

GSA whole premise was based around the suggestion. It was a big community to. Im not saying a hundred pieces. If you had 5 pieces to submit it would be reviewed. If denied you had to wait X amount of time before reapplying or applying to the next rank. Like i said it was just a thought though.

with current expansion of GFX program anyone can do high quality graphics, so it wont work here. Anyone can do now high quality graphics after less than 1 week of training

 

I think this is more suited to what you mentioned, a site dedicated to GFX. We simply don't have the community for tiers of GFX designers, I'm afraid.
