I might be confusing this with something else, but I'll answer what I can.

1). No, they numb your mouth, so I don't think it's too much of a problem. Might hurt a bit after though.
2). It shouldn't take over an hour.
3). You shouldn't ever smoke again.
or if you wanna smoke, I'd just wait till the cut is healed up.

Have you ever had a rather bad tooth ache? It will feel like that once they are gone (or so my sister says, but she is a wimp).

I wouldn't smoke until you're sure it's healed, once it has stopped hurting, give it a week or two after that :p

You should feel anything during the surgery, I don't know if they put you to sleep or they just numb you, but if they just numb you, you can always ask for more if it hurts too much :)

painful: a mild pain for a few days afterwards. they knock you out for the procedure and you will feel good for a few hours, after the anesthetic wears off it will start to hurt. They gave me some oxycodone, diddnt help the pain though.

Recovery: the pain wears off in a few days, recovery honestly prolly takes a few weeks. By recovery i mean the incision to close to where food and shit doesnt get stuck in it. Eating hard food can irritate it pretty badly, and make the healing process prolonged.

smoking: Honestly dont know, google this one.

I got my wisdom teeth removed when I was 14 or 15? (all 4 teeth too).

    1) The surgery is not painful as you will most likely be under anesthetic and asleep the whole time.
    2) The recovery isn't bad, maybe a few days of rest and you will be back on your feet. I got mine taken out on a Thursday and was back at school the following Monday (although my face was still swollen and bruised).
    3) I would wait a few weeks to smoke anything until the holes in your gums have healed fully. I've heard if you smoke you can develop something nasty called dry socket or something like that and it apparantly SUCKS and is very painful. Can't remember what its called though, google it.

Goodluck mate! The worst part is not being able to eat or drink much for days.

Is it painful? Without Anasthesia?Oh definately, my parents didn't believe in pain medications at the time, so I got the anasthesia, but no pain killers afterwards, you feel like shit, but it's a dull aching pain not sharp.

How long does recovery take? I was sore for about a week.

How long after surgery should I wait before I smoke (marijuana) again? Just ask the doctor how long should you wait before you smoke cigarretes again, and then you have a medical answer. ;P

Recovery for me took about 5 days, not painful at all because of all the different pills you get. You definitely SHOULD NOT smoke anything. You will develop dry socket in a heartbeat. That shit is painful watched a few friends go through it.

pretty much what everyone else said. i got Ketoprophine and Vicodin and it helped a lot. The Keto helped with them pain more than the Vicodin but the Vicodin is to help reduce the swelling and such.

Takes around 2 weeks max to heal up, don't smoke for 3 weeks.

I've gotten mine taken out, it sucked.

Oh yeah, I'll definitely be waiting at least a week or two before I smoke. And true, the soup is pretty good, not to mention plenty of pudding and ice cream lol. The worst of it was after the anesthesia wore off, but after I took my painkillers, the aching in my jaw and gums started to soften after an hour or so.

But thank you everyone for the advice :p

Is it painful? Depends on if the teeth are mangled. They knocked me out for mine.

How long after surgery should I wait before I smoke (marijuana) again? Would wait a month or so..
