    Getting a Gucci Belt

i dont think the sythe forums is the best place to be taking fashion advice. Anything that tries too hard with branding is tacky. Take it from someone who never wears polo or lacoste, only loro piana, tod's, moncler, etc. Even with moncler, their cheaper jackets around 900 USD have the mark, but the higher quality moncler gamme blue around 1500-2000 USD jackets don't. Even with the burberry I have, I try to avoid that classic burberry pattern. Just wreaks of typical middle-class citizen trying too hard.

As far as your belts go, if you don't feel embarrassed wearing those types of belts then by all means tuck your shirt in and show off that gucci, but if you want to go the classy route check out rag & bone. I get that you would feel good about yourself wearing that gucci belt, and honestly fashion is about functionality and comfort so go for it. But there are companies (like Loro Piana) that combine both functionality and comfort while also being made from quality material (made in italy). However with your price range you wouldn't be able to afford loro piana so I say go for something like rag&bone

    They are equally as sad.

    You got mine.

This. I bought some fake Ray Bans once, and they looked da-bomb, and lasted a good while.

If you're black, have some swag/fashion sense, then get the 2nd one.

If you're some freshman skinny white kid that thinks he's the shit, then don't get one at all. You're only going to get shit for it.

If you still want to look good, use that money to buy some classic jordans, concords, foams, some 12s, 5s, etc.

You're going down a road you don't want to go with gucci if you're not a black rapper.

That's how society is and the stigma attached to it.

Nope, just not a bunch of fucktards.

I like I KO's advice, but don't be trying to look ghetto or like a black rapper if you're white and from Connecticut, or Manhattan, Or Portland (etc). Ever seen Malibu's Most Wanted? If you have then you know what I am getting at.

seems as though you are very self-conscious and care too much about what other people think about you and thus try to conform to how they want you to look. Don't impart your own subconscious insecurities on the OP by making your own assumptions, he can dress in whatever way will make him feel comfortable. Maybe he's white and trying to act black we don't know but we do know you're getting ahead of yourself and categorizing him as such. If making such assumptions about him help you to sleep at night, he can be whatever you want him to be. #insecurities/superiority complex - emperor nero

p.s. that name says a lot about you

A LV belt generally costs just as much as a Gucci if not just as much. How does the preference of LB over Gucci suggest a lower income bracket?

Or just buy a fake gucci belt buckle for 20 bucks and use any normal black belt and save yourself $300

Black is classy, the green/red one just looks like you're trying too hard.

Definitely agree with you on that one.

I am not sure to what to think of this. From the tone of it you or your parents must be making $250k+ a year, not that its any of my business BUT the the class difference also illustrates a different goals in appearances. I can also tell you grew into money. The reason I know that is because I have friends/acquaintances of all classes. From dirt poor to people who make more then in a year then I will probably make in my whole life.

The point is, just leave your attitude behind when posting on this site. This site "wreaks" of the middle-class as that is what it is made up of so the question is: why post on this forum?

The OP seems to not be loaded so why not let him enjoy this simple pleasure of buying a nice belt? You seem to like to shit on others ;).

    Errrm... can you hear yourself?

Why should he conform to what you feel is appropriate?

Also, who are you trying to impress? It seems you might be quite self-conscious yourself.
