Gap Year?!

Lease a schooner and sail across the Atlantic. That would be an amazing way to spend a few months. Hit some major east coast ports, then make your way to the tropics.

Not really an interesting place tbh. Maybe because i'm from Canada though..

It would be for me though, it's more the change of lifestyle I'm interested in.

 

18, in Quebec. Although, the main language there is French and english.
I'm not sure how often French is spoken their.

I live in Toronto, Canada and its a great city to experience and very multicultural.

 

I am really considering canada however the only real drawback is the weather!

 

What about a gap year in Asia.
Go through Bali, Thailand, Laos, China, Japan, India.
I suggest starting maybe on the top end of Australia and then progressing maybe upwards and back home travelling through Asia. going through Indonesia then progressing upwards.

 

Germany is a very fun place to go, I've visited there around 3 times and I absolutely love it when I do.

 

This guy knows what hes talking about. Make sure to not come immediately though, with autumn & winter settling in its relatively shit currently.

 

That is quite good however I could do with a job while there as well, so was more looking to stick to 1 or 2 places.

I've been loads, I am looking to leave Europe.

Go to either Cali (NOT LA) or New Zealand. I have been to both and can say they are totally different experiences but very pleasant. I personally enjoyed Cali more (I lived a little north of LA). There is always something to do, and the weather is nice all the time.

I was looking at moving to Australia for a job to get out of the US for a couple of years and when I vistited they kept talking about all of the spiders and snakes and I am terrified of them. If I were you Cali is the best bet...Also something that helps a lot is that the girls are beautiful, almost all of them.

 

I am only 18 though, I want to be able to legally drink! As for the girls, is it true they love a British boy?

 

Yeah I mean I'm sure you would need to have some looks to go along with it. And drinking won't be a problem tbh. Even if you get caught ( not likely that they would take the time) nothing will happen to you.

 

Brazil!! Awesome night life 18 drinking age great people and its exotic, you'll really be able to experience a place different from your rainy UK haha. Its the greatest country in my opinion however I may be biased

 

Yeah, Spring begins 1 September so October would be a great time to come.

You may be unlucky though, recently the weather has not really held fast to its seasons and roamed freely :/

Just travel around in europe? Get a train pass and travel around. Stay in hostels etc. Or just find an internship in an interesting/exotic place. If you have any idea what you want to study in college, you could try and find something related to that.

 

come to Montreal its in Quebec Canada and the drinking age is 18=) We speak french here but its not the same as the french i would imagine you speak, but you will get your point across non the less.
