Guys for each component this guy listed could you guys give me recommendations to what to buy for example ATI 4850 graphics card(price) etc. I need a ruff idea of total cost your all claiming making a pc will be cheaper but if you add all the little things such as cooling fans... it builds up and for couple more hundred you can be on warranty. You could build a high end PC for only a third of that, at about £500.
Start off with the Motherboard, because that is what all the parts connect to. Also bear in mind what sort of CPU you want to get (e.g. AMD vs Intel) because the CPU connects to a non-replaceable socket on the Mobo.
Then start to look at RAM - the higher the better. DDR3 is out which is better and slightly cheaper than DDR2 etc
Then get a good Graphics card. If your going to be playing some graphic intensive games like Crysis etc, then you should spend MORE on your GPU than your CPU, because that matters more when gaming.
The last things you need to consider are the DVD/Blu-ray Drives, Hard Drives (Dont bother with an SSD - get a Veloci-raptor instead.), a decent PSU and a Case.
need assistance only from those who know what their talking about.
