A user has decided to leak screenshots showing 'staff corruption'. Since it's being posted offsite and I don't really feel like chasing him around, I have decided to show the full thread - and everything he left out.

It didn't really have a point. Everyone on staff knew it was a troll, so we just went with it. Like Daily said, it's a copy of an old troll that was done successfully in the past. It was also only in the upper lounge; Matt got promoted in the midst of it >.<

I don't find corruption funny, but yes, I do find cancer funny.

However, I find the lack of the ability to take a light-hearted joke that doesn't actually involve any corruption to be rather boring, and annoying.

 

How is it that the reputation of the site hangs in the balance based on a simple joke. There are much MUCH worse things that occur on this site that are far worse for the reputation than that. The joke was obvious for several reasons, and if the people who see them don't realize such, then they really aren't intelligent enough to be making accusations that may damage the reputation of the site.

And so what if I don't care about people? Does my apathy for mankind's well being affect my judgment on matters that don't even regard such?

I think you took the situation way out of proportion, either that, or you yourself are a troll, sir. It's clearly a joke because Sin is on the list, for one, and for two, if such were going on amongst the staff, do people really think you'd be so stupid to post it on the site? ?

 

There were actual retards that completely believed it.

 

I do agree that damaging the integrity of your staff is a bad thing, but when it's so obviously a joke, it should be taken softly. I do understand a professional environment, and no, the joke should not have been posted, but it's still just that, A joke =/.

And I really have to disagree on the point of all of us being here just to do business. Several of us actually use Sythe to simply communicate with others who share a common interest. Yes, the majority is here for the market, but that doesn't account for all of your current members.

Yeah =/. But that keeps me by my original point that those who don't put thought into what they preach really shouldn't be taken seriously .

Corruption is not funny. Its appaling because you dont know who you can trust. I totally get What Sythe means. But i see what deacon means. It was a joke Sythe

The point is, not all human beings have the intelligence to understand a simple joke.
Always remember that there is the Moron, Stupid, and Idiot level of mentality.

Let's say that 90% of the viewers of that joke have the IQ level of below average, what do you think will be the outcome?
Would they think it as a funny joke or a serious matter?

Why do it in the first place?
Only the staff was going to see it anyway...
It maybe a troll, but it makes me lose a little more faith in the sythe mods & admins...It looked legit (not the pic, that was kinda bs)- the detailed instructions. Yeah, it may have been a joke, but allowing the joke to be leaked around sythe and for normal users to see this hurts the reputation slightly of sythe admins & mods.

Edit: Knowing that they could do this easily is what is scary...
