If you were to create your own script that makes 500k / H on a lvl 3.

Grab 12 bots (4 bot per comp/vps for dual core) and lets say mills goes to 1 dollar per mil

    #bots * 24 hours * 0.5 dollar for 500k
    12 * 24 * 0.5 = 144 or 48 dollar per computer (dual core) per day.

I'd say its looking good :p

Now I just have to learn Simba and find a 500k/h method for level 3s...

Though I think a more reasonable figure would be to cut that to around 150k/h. So make a little bit of change:

    12 * 150k * 24 = 43m or around $21.50 a day for all 12 bots.

Not accounting for downtime that would be around $645, or conservatively I would say $400 - $500 a month.

Disappointed bots are gone but I'm glad to see goldfarmers out the game, they overran runescape and ruined it.

old scar scripts might needs to be updated as the colors has changed. But in theory should work.

SIMBA doesn't have a way to overcome the 6 hour "Runescape has updated" message, does it?

Am not too up to date on that, but all I know is that we do have a ghetto way of solving it, but as for using it in browser/vm browser, we could refresh the page ourselves and re do it.

People were saying that you could lets say log off at the 4 hours and log back in for 4 hours ..etc but am not very clear on that, if it works then wonderful :p

Why would you even consider a laptop for bulk goldfarming?

I discussed this with him over PM and because of Java limitations you can't really run more that about 6 bots on a single PC. Apparently 4 is really optimum running.

I never had a problem doing so. And even if there is, a desktop would still be way cheaper and more reliable.

    Future of goldfarming?

Main FTW is all about scar and simba. I watched the Lion King for the first time last year in AP Environmental Science and now I know all about it :p

I would say goldfarming is not yet over, unless jagex comes up with an update that miraculously stops color bots (may happen). The number of goldfarmers might decrease, but that only means that the remaining goldfarmers have less competition in resources and make more. Colour bots are bound to improve over time with more scripters and more focus on them instead of reflection (colour bots are now pretty much 99%, instead of the 2% jagex mentioned).

I mean, it's been a couple of weeks after the bot nuke and I can still find bots if I look a little closer.

Are scar and simba even actually able to be goldfarming any reasonable amount of money now? Cuz it doesn't really seem to me like they are.

I'm no bot farmer, but in my opinion you can actually make a reasonable amount (minus fees, membership, etc.). I'm just saying there'll still be goldfarmers out there, and it's likely to rise with the rising prices of resources, though it won't have the same potential reflection did.

I'm one of them. I'm still making about 100m/day. I was just saying that buying a laptop to bot on is incredibly foolish.

It does, the method isn't official but is on their forums.
I'm running 12 white berry bots and earning about 250k a hour on each which is pretty good. Although the longest i've managed to run a bot since the update is about 20 hours. Your scripts will need updating to cope entirely with the it.

Am saying that because dual core laptop/computer is the most efficient setup for simba, as it can run 4 bots at the same time. This is also compact as I could just stick it in my fan box and leave 3-4 of them in the corner of my room.

With Simba/Scar, this is an number of bots you can run vs number of coure.
Ofcourse the ram goes up butas you can see, there aren't that big of improvement with respect to increase in core.

Some one else could also test this, this was only my result.

    Bot|Core
    _______
    4.0|2.0
    4.0|4.0
    6.0|8.0
