Fury! Wrongful Banning :) [Final Proof]

    Hello,

I am posting for my brother in-law "Fury!"

He has made several attempts to get his name cleared in the past year, this is the first post in probably 6 months because he has gathered the evidence against him to dispute the banning.

Rule of "Report A Scammer" thread

No posting chat log's (as they can be edited)

As you can see, the entire conversation is a chat log.

Link to thread that got him banned.

    http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=369838

    Trade:

A level 124 Runescape Account for several hundred Diablo 2 Accounts.

As you can see the trade went well.

One of the conditions of the trade was that Fury! would only give full info after he had checked all of the accounts and if the majority of them were in good standing then he would provide full info.

Now it takes awhile to logon 100-150 accounts, especially on B.NET because you will get temp banned for so many logons.

He realized that only 8-10 of the accounts were actually worth anything, he came on Sythe the next day and BAM. He was banned. He later found out by logging in at the library that he was banned with insufficient evidence and that it was a total mistake of the seller, thinking he scammed him because he recovered the account back.

He always tryed to get unbanned but it wouldn't work because they couldn't find the thread to where he was actually banned and because the seller no longer came on MSN.

    Thanks for reading this.

Hmm... Why did Pen do that?

The only proof was chat logs(that shouldn't have been accepted) and it wasn't clear that it really was him in those chat logs. His MSN was never displayed.

The rule applies mostly to members; although users are not supposed to post logs (and we reserve the right to automatically deny the report if they try), staff are not equally required to ignore them. You don't seem to be disputing that it was your brother in the convo; nor have you called the logs fake/edited. The fact that it is a chat log does not matter if it's undisputed.

Pen knows the rules; whether that was before we barred logs, or after, I trust he made the decision as he saw fit. He deserves a chance to reply to the dispute.

The logs show nothing at all that even shows that he scammed.. It's just a basic trading conversation. It doesn't even show an email. It doesn't show "bla bla goes offline" ..Just telling him while he was offline that he was going to get him banned.. He logged on the next day.. The trade had "rules", and medicinal man didn't have what he offered in the first place. So actually, medicinal man scammed him by lying and said that he had all of the accounts.

    Insufficient proof, unbanned.
