    Fucking pissed.

The original IP in the other details box does NOT work. I've sent in close to 15 appeals for one of my accounts doing that, and it doesn't change anything.

Hahahaha that email you sent is awesome bro.

I feel your pain, I have an old pure that I cannot recover due to "Creation Details" as well.

I ultimately got it back by being able to provide the browser in which it was created, and a rough guestimate as to when it was created.

Are you certain that someone else got into your account? What makes you think and know that? That definitely makes it more challenging to get the account back, unfortunately.

Did you ever member it with a credit card? Entering in a valid agreement number almost always yields a successful account appeal. I would continue to fiddle around with it. If you're persistent enough, truly the original owner, and provide enough info, you're going to get it back.

Ultimately, if it fails, I'd probably just make a new account or quit Runescape. 4 months isn't that long of a time anyway. I wish you luck bro, and good luck with whatever life brings you after High School :).

Like if you member an account with a credit card, you get or used to get an agreement number. You type that in, and assuming it's valid, you're going to get your account back in all likelihood.

No problem man, hope it works out for you.

I know that is like one of the first things they look for. They're more inclined to believe it's your account if you dished money out for it. The older the agreement number, the better. But really, any should work.

Transaction number may be what the agreement number is. I just remember it used to be called agreement number. I haven't used a credit card to member an account in years though, I usually buy my members from my cell phone by texting for a pin.

Sometimes it just takes a different ip. For example, my old main was banned and my first recovery was denied. I changed my ip address and then the second time it was successful with the same details provided

I know these things happen to a lot of people, but from what I heard about rumors and in fact seeing people post on forums themselves... lots of things you wouldn't believe happened in the past 3 years you were gone from RS.

First, over the past 3 years, there was a super recovering random accounts frenzy organized by one of the blackmarket forums which is now forced closed and controlled by Jagex, but Jagex couldn't really do anything about it before that. (They did change the recovery system and how it works a few times though throughout the past 3 years)

But from the information above, I'd say nearly 90% of most accounts that haven't been active recently was recovered by total strangers who took information from facebook, twitter, google, any free source of information they could find. And basically. It become "their" account.

Lots of partyhats came into game this way by recovering random accounts, (another reason why partyhats dropped in price in RS), and lots of rares come into games too.

The massive recovering frenzy also recovered many 2001 level 3 accounts which became (9HP accounts), and that's another reason why there are still so many 9 HP accounts available for sale even today. You can't say they just suddenly remember their username and password to an account created nearly 10 years ago. That's not going to happen, because they will NEVER remember stuff 10 years ago. No one does actually. Unless you happen to HAVE a slip of paper with your account details on it you WROTE 10 years ago. Which I don't think will happen either unless you live in a shabby shack. So with those two possibilities canceled. You could most nearly guess where the 9 HP accounts come from. From randomly recovering accounts. That's right. I'd say it's illegal, but Jagex has got to stop this.

When you send an email to jagex, it takes forever for them to read, trust me. I sent one to their support saying the bloom lighting didn't work on macs, and it took them 3 weeks to respond back to me, telling me they were busy because of the christmas event and such.
