3 programs i suggest

1. Eset NOD32
2. malwarebytes
3. combofix will get the stuff malwarebytes and eset wont -----http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/combofix

 

That's the registry key, I believe the actual one is the first one on the list.

 

Just restore you're computer any good keylogger would be able to hide from every single anti-virus out their. Malware bytes can help but if he is a half decent hacker then he would be able to hide the keylogger from everything you throw at him so just system restore to a previous date. Good luck man.

 

Most of these keyloggers going around now are almost FUD so they won't detected. And that would be the logical thing to tell anyone who's been keylogged.

Go to a tech help forum and post a HijackThis log if you're still unsure.

Many of them can just mess with your system restores by making them corrupt etc. so just try removing them or if you're willing to; reformat.

Yeah. They stole my account. Changed the recoveries to where it said like "good f'ing fight" "dont even try to recover" etc... I can't recover anymore :\ jagex is being a douche. all my info is correct. I can tell whoever hacked it sold the account because some kid is playing on it and changed everything.

OT: Comodo Antivirus found my keylogger. However I still reformatted.

 

I probably will reformat eventually but I got assignment that need to be done at the moment.. Well just 2 small ones that I've pretty much done. I'll back my stuff up whilst I'm doing them and re-format when I'm sleeping or something. But thanks for all the help. When I load the new windows on I'll install some shit to protect my computer.

 

Just crack a good antivirus that's what i do.

When you crack the good ones, they eventually fuck themselves and ask for an activation code.

 

This is why whenever any of my friends get a keylogger, I "DEAL" with them . Seriously, who threatens people over runescape like that? I don't see how people sleep at night, it's sad.

 

download a key scrambler, so when you type all they see is s5930pdf.2+-" instead of "password"

 

Haha well I don't think I'm going to go all the way over to Canada just for 80-90m of stuff. I can earn that back in less than 2 weeks with my bots. ;P
But yeah I don't know why they do it. They should just earn/bot it themselves. I don't even know how I got it. I didn't download any suspicious stuff that I know of..

I'm going to just re-format. I'm copying my main files now. Going to take a while to do My Documents though. Haha.

 

You could try running HiJackThis, it makes a copy of your system and lets others view it and hopefully someone that knows what theyre talking about will help you out.

Its hard to get rid of them on your own if you don't know what to look for.

 

I'd honestly suggest just re-formatting.
You don't want to take the risk of it happening again.

Totally agree with this thread, i was keylogged a while back on some other runescape community thread, ive just recently moved to sythe as recommended by a friend.

 

AVG Internet Security is the best thing ever.

 

Well I downloaded KeyScrambler Premium (cracked) but I don't know if it works. I hope so.
I finished reformatting too. Hopefully I won't get a keylogger again.

That website is where you can contact his internet service provider and claim that he's sending viruses out over the internet. They'll respond and tackle his computer.
