On Topic: To some extent yes others no. it's easy to imagine a person of higher authority ignoring the person right completely when criticized.

 

Freedom of speech is limited when it effects others and or is deemed "offensive". The fact remains that there is freedom of speech I mean we still have Fox News don't we? We're better off than many other countries but not perfect.

Hmm they say the three freedoms that should be guaranteed to a man are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness... seems a little vague to me tbh. Freedom is not free. It was paid for by the blood of our forfathers. Freedom is ideal in a Utopian world, but the problem is we aren't in a Utopian world. We are in a world filled with evil men, rapists, murderers, terrorists and so on. In order for people to be safe sometimes the rules have to adjusted. You only have a freedom so long as it doesn't infringe upon the rights of others.

The confederate flag suspension thing is bullshit though. Many white people are so uptight about being politically correct and it is bullshit. Just because we enslaved africans does not mean we should let them walk all over us. We aren't making anything up to them by acting like pussies. They got their freedom. They are getting educations with scholarships. The End. This is reverse racism tbh. Downgrading ourselves in order to make up for the moral mistakes of our forfathers is pathetic. If someone wants to hail a flag in remembrance of their past and history then fucking let them. And to all you politically correct pussies out there, go kill yourselves, or stop being fake.

Oh and one more thing.. I am sick and tired of African Americans blaming slavery on the white folk. Africans started the slavery. It is a historical fact. Warring tribes took slaves from the losers and used them or sold them. The Portuguese and dutch to begin with monopolized on an already existing practice of slavery.

 

Freedom of speech, well; it isn't what everyone thinks it it is- like(I think it was finn) said, you can't go on a street screaming "DIE BLACKS DIE", that would be considered a hate crime to in a way though.

Freedom of speech should be completely bounderless with a few exceptions- when its resulting in some kind of battery(phsycially), domestic violence, or leads to damage of some kind of property; then the proper authority should be taken.

As far as cussing someone, you aren't just going to cuss someone for no reason, unless your a jackass. But calling people names, putting them down, or 'spittin your lick', just shouldn't be a reason to get a disordly conduct or upwards ticket. If you can't handle critism and can't feed it back, grow up an take a look at the world, it's not going to change.
