Posting a prize in front of everybody so anyone can get it is a pretty classic scam.

You can always claim "Someone must have gotten it before you did lol" whenever anyone tries to redeem the spent code you gave them.

I think Tyro forced you into losing more than you wanted to with this.

There's something called generosity. I was told that the winner deleted a post or whatever to win, and I thought it'd be better if prizes were given out publicly since I appreciate the community. The entire goal is to reach a certain number of posts, and it doesn't matter who gets the final post. Others still put forth as much effort as everyone else, so I don't see what's wrong with one of the people who view the thread to win the key.
