Free services earn vouches?

I am fairly new to the Sythe Community and whenever I try to make a Service thread it fails. Everyone who wants to at leaste take the time to post tells me to 'get more vouches'.

At the same time I see people offering free services for vouches.. Is that allowed?
I can't see that as a valid transaction...

 

In my opinion you should recieve a vouch if you had a chance to scam someone but didn't. eg trust trade (dungeoneering items), access to their account.

This is exactly how the vouch system works. Earning vouches for performing free skilling is good because people are getting something for free; thus, they might be willing to risk their account for it. The rules we have against GUARANTEEING a vouch are in place because vouches can be scammed, just like any other currency.

 

You can offer free services, but you DON'T require a vouch.

 

To be honest, 120 dungeoneering for 50 usd sounds fishy :/

 

Then imo the vouch system is flawed. You're saying someone risking there account's security, and everything along with the account (items etc.) is equivalent to X (being payment value). But it isn't always. I can earn a ton of vouches by just training easy levels on accounts that I could potentially not want to scam.. I come back a month later with a lot of vouches, tell people 100+ Vouches; i'm trusted and boom- let the scamming spree begin..

 

I made 1M=.5USD b/c I felt it might help my chances getting more customers. It's not realistic, and thats what I was going for- something to draw more customers in.

When and if I got a steady increase in customers was when I'd change my price to be around 1M=.75 or something..

 

anyone can give you a vouch thats if you did something great for them and if they are willing to give not forced to give the vouch to you

 

You cannot REQUIRE a vouch if you do something for someone.
They (the person receiving your service) has the right to refuse to give you a vouch.
