[FREE] Secure Password Generator

Find it hard to think of unguessable/uncrackable passwords on your own?

On behalf of the Sythe.org staff body, I have written a secure password generator that will generate complex, uncrackable passwords for you to use on your Sythe.org, Runescape, and MSN accounts.

Works on Windows XP and higher.

If you receive an error about "MSVCR100.DLL" missing, install this as well:

Works well, thank you for this Govind. I suggest adding a little note at the bottom that states you should save your password(s) on a document somewhere, because remembering these are impossible, and some people might forget that.

I'll explain it in easy steps:

1. Prepare yourself mentally
2. Headbang the keyboard
3. Profit

No but seriously, will be helpful to the part of the community that makes passwords the same as nicknames /facepalm

Actually it is a bit too randomized for myself. I don't like the odd symbols etc that it adds in. You should stick to letters and numbers and still be secure.

something like ]2Z>/'[[;] is much to hard to remember.

I currently just stick to a long password with letters and numbers and its all good. Just keep it written down somewhere.

re-edit: Haha, can't even believe that I downloaded something called "passgen.exe" (totally safe just sayin')

 

You can omit all the symbols from the password if you don't want to use them.

Eg. change
)=hadNz]?en0[:a
To hadNzen0a

I think that a long, random password like this would be helpful for a forum like this though. If you save the password (on hand, not on a computer) you only really need to input it once here with the whole auto logon thing.

I agree with the long random password idea, just like I have on most of my accounts on runescape etc.

I just think that the symbols should be omitted and instead replaced with more letters/numbers.

Govind: For some reason the whole window does not show up and I can't see everything(even though I can generate passwords) and no way that I can see to expand it. Any ideas?

I guess the same thing could be accomplished by pressing some random letters on the keyboard, but hey, this is still pretty cool.

Nice program. But you shouldn't say they're "uncrackable" because I promise you they are. Just not within the realm of reason .

 

They're uncrackable to any user who doesn't have literally billions of years to spare.
