Definitely happy about this, gonna try it out. Heard great things about RiD but never got around to using it and this is a good chance to test it out.

Damn, I'm in the mid 70's right now and I haven't been able to bot it yet. I'm super jealous. How is the bot doing?

I still have about 2 hours before my VM will finish downloading(terrible internet)

After a little hassle I have it up and running, thanks Trent! I've been doing 12+ hours a day of this and it feels so good to just sit back and relax haha. I won't push it too much and hopefully everything goes smoothly =]

Cant seem to get it to work even after checking over the instructions and your instructions on this post..

 

If you have skype I can help you out, I had some problems setting it up too but I got it working and now I've been botting all day.

 

Also a note: For those that are lower combat level, the level 50 area (Karamja) does have level 86 Tribesman nearby that could kill you.

For the meantime just stay at the level 40 area until level 60. It's possible that an update in the future will handle this, but no guarantees.

Mine seems to work well for about 10-20 minutes then just stop, any ideas?

 

Which location?

Also make sure all of your RS settings are exactly correct, as the bot may start with some improper settings, they may get in the way of functioning later on.

Also, check the log.html file and the screenshots inside the Log folder within the RiD folder. Be sure to check them before reopening RiD, as it will overwrite them and they will be blank if you don't.

Now, if you decide to show the log.html file, DO NOT show the timestamps, as that's just dangerous. Sometimes the log file will say why it quit, or you can see why in the pictures. The small little red dot on the picture is where the mouse was when the bot encountered the error.

 

It's most likely your settings. Ask one of the guys on the RiD chat box to teamview you. They can easily find and fix these types of problems.

 

Just managed to get an 8 hour session. Only turned it off so I could go to the next location. Loving this bot!

 

Got it working went from 32-53 so far no problems, hard to keep it running being on this hotel connection though, will be trying for some good runs once I am home again.

 

So with RSBot being completely detectable last 5 (?) versions, is the RiD client 'safe' to use?

 

Is RiD the best botting site right now? Any bans?

 

We haven't had a single ban in the past 3 years that was the result of our bot.

Although we do have stupid members who have used other bots like powerbot and have been banned.
