[Free Guide] Fast Fishing Xp

Hello everyone. My name is TJ and I wanted to share a well known method of fast Fishing experience. Many Runescape players may know and many may not so here it is.

Items and Skill Requirements:

1. 70 fishing is useful but you don't need it. Only if you want to obtain the maximum amount of experience per hour.
   
2. You must be a member.
   
3. you MUST have 45 Agility and 45 Strength if you want to obtain the maximum amount of experience per hour. Otherwise 15 agility/Strength.
   
4. You will need to bring a knife and about 100 feathers/bait to get started.

This method is Heavy Fly Fishing. You get more xp then salmon/trout because there is also another fish involved called Sturgeon. This gives 80xp Per catch. Also each catch gives a small amount of Agility and Strength Xp Also. When you cut the fish you also get Cooking xp. (Minimal but still some)

Experience Per Hour: Anywhere from 50-60k depending on hour fast you are.


First start off by talking to Otto in his house. Here is a map of the area:



When you talk to Otto he will tell you about heavy fly fishing. Search his bed afterwords to get the fishing rod. (You can get as many as you want if it gets washed away. Just search his bed again.) From here go to one of the fishing spots and fish one fish and it will tell you to go back to Otto. Talk to him again and then fish a full inventory of Fish.



After you fish the full load you will want to cut the fish. Keep the knife the in second to last slot and cut all of the fish. You will not always get a full load of roe and caviar. Only with 90+ cooking.



Now Fish until You do not have any more free inventory space. Drop the cutoffs or the Feathers/bait and use the roe/caviar for the rest of the bait.

Keep repeating this method for the fastest Fishing experience in Runescape!

Note: If you do this from 70-99 you will also gain 1,000,000+ experience in Cooking, Agility, and Strength

How to Hand Fish

After talking to Otto in his house and talk to him about harpooning fish. From here he will give you a little story then you can go a fish with your hands.

1. At level 70 you can fish swordfish and tuna with your hand at any of the fishing spots.

2. At level 96 you can fish sharks with just your hand! No harpoon needed.

Hand fishing also gets your strength experience up, just but a little, but enough to make a difference after awhile.

Ways To make Money and Fish to 99

For myself If you wanted to make money here would be some simple easy steps to getting 99. (Still Building)


For the first levels, (1-20), it is pretty self explanatory. You can simply do Shrimp until level 20. For myself, I would just head to Draynor and fish the Shrimp there.



Now, from level (20-70) i would Fly fish in either barbarian village or if you can, Shilo Village. Shilo would be the fastest and Barbarian village would be your alternative.





From levels (70-85) strictly do lobsters, this will get you a good sum of money too I would do this at the Fishing Guild (members)



Now finally, from levels (85-99) Do monkfish at the Fishing Colony. This is a good money making method (30m+). This small guide in which i will elaborate further on later is a basic 99 guide if you want to make some cash while doing it.

How much xp per hour is it?

 

Depends on how fast you are really. It could be anywhere from 50-60k xp an hour. ( I have never timed but thats what people are saying. I will time though. =])

Thanks, great guide by the way, I myself didn't realize it was decent training good agility training as well I guess if you aren't the kind to enjoy normal agility methods lol.

Never heard about fishing like that before, I'll give it a try some time.

 

Its a great guide i guess you could get 99 str and have like 40 hp if you wanted, and you would make alot of profit.
