Free bots=Ban?

I've never been banned using a free bot...

 

depends on which bot and the duration tbh, if you're looking for a ban just download one of the free sudoku ones and your account will be infracted in less than 72 hrs

 

I have only used paid bots I run 4 24/7 and havent been banned... Rolled back once(only from 81 to 59 no big deal there) I have never seen perm ban to my knowledge first offense is two week ban.

 

Free bots eventually do get banned quicker mainly because the scripts aren't as good as paid ones.

Also, I think it is do with the antiban. Many use free bots, so it is easier to catch out who bots. For example, the range guild is crowded with bots, because there is a free range guild bot that gives very good experience.

 

you sir do not know what you're talking about i botted alot of accounts 24/7 for 10+ days and still no bans, i know they will eventually get ban but botting a 6 days in soul was dosen't matter at all, i'v seen people get 16 days straight with no bans

 

Sometimes I find that Free bots are the best bots.

I botted 90-99 strength using a free soul wars bot on Powerbot a while ago.

 

The scripts can only be as good as the scripting engines they run in, and the free bots which everyone is familiar with are RSBot / RSBuddy / EpicBot / Runedev all use a crappy looped based scripting engine since they are all based on / are RSBot. I could easily code a script for one of the two free bots I develop, and it would be way better than most paid scripts. I've used some RSBots.net/iBot Nexus scripts in the past and I've noticed many bugs in them...

By the way, Jagex usually doesn't ban you until months after they find you're botting.
