Something really needs to be done though. I could see Jagex running in there and banning anyone 'rioting' though. Seems like something that they would do.

Jagex doesn't give a fuck. The community usually ends up crawling back.

I haven't botted in months man, the game turned to shit.

 

Thing is if all these "rioters" cancelled their membership jagex would lose alot of money and possibly listen, running around screaming does not do anything..

 

These riots aren't going to do anything, unless they get everyone to cancel their membership.

I was there, it's honestly just a big spam fest. Half of the people there don't even know whats going on.

They only brought it back as last resort to save the game and bring in traffic (money), now that they have all that, they will stay this way which he why they are trying to hide the truth. I do hope that they ban a lot of bots that are dumb.

 

The riots work. And Jagex can ignore them, but it does leave an impression on the game: "...players rioted because...".

It lets them know people are pissed, simply posting on the forums doesn't work.

 

This is crazy.
But I hope Jagex gets the message.
