That's how staff and the teams work. Decreases conflict in staff and the teams and increases productivity. Apparently. I finally accepted that after my 5th staff app got denied, each simply because I'm not in their clique and am not well liked among staff I guess.

At least this has been what has been relayed to me by multiple upper staff on my last app and many retired staff on previous apps.

So the idea is that they push out the people that don't fit with them and block people who they do not like. This is why you may see it as unfair.

I was told this was how it worked and was intended to work for the benefit of the teams cohesion and productivity.

Yeah unfortunately you missed the prime time where you would get noticed for hard work instead of having to be in the clique of working for a well known gold shop of dicing group. Me and @Astro worked our asses off in CDT for a good 5-6 months before we were ever considered. Then finally got noticed when free spots opened up

 

Yeah I wish we didn't switch to the application model. I think admins should promote people they think are worthy.

@Bogdan I agree, they shouldn't focus on the 18, the font can be changed... but if you're incapable of making the 18 look good with the minirank it makes the minirank look like a shit stain. btw i thought u had a good idea for mini.
