So an idiot is trying to argue to me that an insult isn't an insult if the insult itself is true.

Isn't it true that an insult is notwithstanding of the truth, as long as it's disrespectful, it would be considered an insult?

Example: I call an obese person fat and they get offended. Is that not an insult? He says it's not an insult, because it's a fact.
