Football Players Read

okay, I do football and i have a question for others that do this as well. basically, plain and simple. I know I've had several concussions over the 7 years of football (JFL, And High school football combined) but the question is.. did you tell anyone about them? or did you fight through it? Please no flames/spam like your a dumb ass go get checked out. I already know this.

And for those who ask the reason why I never have is because more or less i want to play football, and the concussion test's are impossible to me, even with a normal/straight head or however you want to say that.

and if you can countdown from 100 by 7's without messing up..props to you..​

 

If you honestly feel like you need to care to the concussion(s), then yes, get it checked out.

 

I had two, and both times I had to tell them, because of the fact that it involved me getting taken out of the game.

You really should tell people about these concussions because of the fact that they can really come back to bite you.

You should get evaluated by a doctor.

 

More times then i can count, i played rugby league for 10 years (5 - 16) and i can remember at my trials for a high school i was head slammed and apparently had a seizure i came too on the sideline with a massive crowed around me. Needless to say i didnt make it into the school lol this was just one occasion, but i never have been to the doctors afterwards, my parents arnt exactly the "go to the doctor" type of people, they are more of the "walk it off you cat" type haha

Mum just used to say i wasn't allowed to go to sleep for 5 hours or so, otherwise i might not wake up.

but theres really no point in getting checked out now, it was several years ago plus its not like i'm falling asleep for 18hrs a day. I know the symptoms of them they havn't really bothered me except for headaches, which is a given with football.
