Hello! This is my first post..

Hi,

I would like to take a few minutes and just say hello. My name is Seth and I've played Runescape since classics. I'm not too positive this thread goes here, but since it's off topic it shouldn't be in the way.

I am in fact new to all this, buying and selling of RS things, but over the past 4-6 months I have browsed these forums trying to get a feel of how things work around here. It's all very interesting and though I may not be doing a lot (if any) of buying or selling I would still like to stick around and see how things go . Lot's of interesting/cool things being traded off here.

I've also kind of noticed something over the past few months, so if i'm looking at this all wrong go ahead and let me know. It's apparent to me that a lot of newbies aren't looked at as being someone you can trust and in fact selling things as a newbie can be difficult without very very detailed descriptions and pictures. I do however understand the fact of being cautions and not trusting someone with a low post count. After all it doesn't really take a genius to create a fake account to try and scam a quick and easy 50m.


With that being said, at what point should I start attempting to sell things (if i'm interested in doing so) 100 posts, 200 posts? It's not so much buying I'm worried about because it seems to me as long as the buyer goes first and uses either a middle man or is confident enough to trust a verified seller then there's nothing to worry about. Either way i'm not too worried, but I would just like a few things clarified and eventually (hopefully) i'll fit in around here.
