update: i stop using the guthans script bc it did not work at my levels 80/80/80 81hp i think it would be better at 85/85/85 85hp i am guessing.
be free to help me if i am doing it wrong.

 

We, and many others, have used the Guthans program since 70/70/70 with no problems at all! Are you following the recommended guide? What difficulty levels are you choosing? Which bosses/monsters are you choosing to fight? If you are not choosing the correct difficulty or the wrong monsters, you will die to the inability to heal.

Why does the range bot close like 30 seconds after saying "drinking super range potion"?

Edit: Also, how does the anti-ban work? Don't really see any vids or info about the fluffsoft bots so I'm a bit curious, already had a 2 day ban.

What values are you entering when you run the program? If you don't enter the amount of time to run the program for (in minutes), it will close after drinking a super ranging potion, assuming you have chosen them as an option.

As for anti-ban, each click is random. The location, time between, etc are all within a random, human like range. Our goal is to mimic human interaction. You don't see any videos about the bots yet because we haven't had a chance to get around to making them. However, we will hopefully be recording usage videos for each of them this week!

I read the "how to use" thing wrong as was putting time as 1 like an idiot. Anyways, changed the time but now I have the problem of, the bot moves my cursor to the corner of the prayer icon when it says "next click in" but doesn't actually click, just moves the mouse.

Not entirely sure what is going on, got the cmd window as main window and osrs running in the background.

Edit: Let it run for 5 minutes and it still never clicked. Restarted and tried again and it still isn't clicking.

The mouse will move back to the prayer icon after drinking a ranging potion and will wait between 30 and 55 seconds to click. The intention of using the program is that you will NOT be able to use your mouse while it is playing. If you are using the computer while this is running, it will not work. Once you have the mouse in position, let go of the mouse!

It may not be "working" if you are using the computer while it is running because you may not see the clicks.

Side note, if you want to use your computer while running this program, we suggest you check out the option of running it on a virtual machine.

Edit: Got it running near flawlessly on a VM now, quick question am I able to take control at any point to quickly use the rock cake? As it has let my HP get to 2 which essentially halves my time in NMZ with absorptions

Also, what would you say the best time per absorption would be? currently got 6 minutes.

 

I'm just coming back and learning about NMZ but after I do it a bit by hand, a script for it really seems the way to go. Very nice, looking forward to trying it some day soon.

 

Awesome to hear you have it working on a VM! If it takes you more than 1 minute to setup, be sure to prayer flick Rapid Heal to reset the timer before starting the program. We typically click the prayer flick right before starting to ensure a minute wont pass until the next click. That should fix your issue of having 2hp! No need to click back in to eat the rock cake!

The best time per absorption (200 points worth) depends entirely on your levels and gear. We tested the code on a max main and found that 30 minutes between drinking an entire potion of absorption worked very well. To calculate your time, drop your HP to 1, drink absorption potions up to a reasonable number, and time how long it takes for you to lose 50 of those points. Then, multiply that time by 4 (50 points per dose * 4 doses per potion = 200 points = 1 full potion) and that is the time you should enter into the program. Phew, that was a lot! Sorry! When I make the video, I'll be sure to mention that and hopefully explain it a bit clearer!

One last question, is it possible to use the ranged version and swap to like melee void with absorptions and just put 0 for range potions etc instead of using the guthans version as I cannot afford to use that atm. I understand it wouldn't use overloads etc.

I imagine it'd work but yet to test it as I am still ranging atm.

Edit: Tried using ranged version with melee, it works fine but can't use overloads which reduces XP/hr a fair bit.

Any way you'd be able to make an absorption version for melee with overload support?

 

We certainly could create a melee version that supports overloads. We were actually thinking about making a Dharok version as well, as they are quite similar. To be honest, we need to do a bit more research on how overloads are used, as we have never used them (used the Guthans to 99 max melee so didn't have a need ). Once we understand how overloads are used, we will certainly be able to create something to automate that!

Pretty much with overloads you just drink it, then it has a 5 minute timer, after the timer finishes it will put you back up 50hp so it would put you back to 51 then you just use another dose and it puts you back to 1hp. You have to have 51+hp in order to be able to use it which usually isn't a problem.

Also, the overload buff keeps the same stats the whole time, it doesn't go down every minute like a regular potion, so after the 5 minutes your stats go down to the originals so I imagine it'd be fairly easy to set.

Also, thanks for the response and would be very much appreciated if the overload version was made, makes it easy for us poor players to get maxed

Thanks for all of the input! We personally (and our testers) used each of the programs for 12-18 hours a day without any issues! The programs were perfect for when we went to sleep, to work, out to dinner, etc

 

Managing to use melee+overloads with the range version atm by setting 1 for super ranging potions and setting the level to 5 so the program repots every 5 minutes. Not amazingly useful as you can only have 4 overloads + it doesn't repot instantly after the 5 minutes as it waits for the prayer flick so you can sometimes lose like 50+ absorption damage (in void anyway).

Temporary workaround I suppose and it boosts my xp/hr by 20k so it is so handy.

Edit: Turns out it is better to use super strengths if you are using void as you just take too much damage when the overload wears off and puts you back to 51hp as it waits for the prayer flick before redrinking the potion which can sometimes be close to a minute.
