'Flipping' vs 'Merchanting'

Someone please explain the difference?

Flipping is merchanting.

Buying items for a certain price margine EX: 30k under middle, then selling 20K over mid once your 4 hours are up.

Merchanting can be, investing which is buying an item and predicting that its going to go up, or buying out, like when you buy all of an item causing it to go up, then you dump ect.

 

Flipping and merchanting are the same as Divine_God have explained. merchanting is simply when you buy a item and resell at a even higher price. Now and day's people even consider investing as merchanting which is just buying a item that is going up and holding it until they feel like selling it. Flipping to me is consider a small time version of the two. Where you quickly buy a item that sells for lowest and try to resell in W2 in med price for a quick flip. Or when you know a item is going to increase tomorrow so you buy the item in med price and resell tomorrow for a quick flip.

better don't do merchanting unless some1 really expertise advice u on merchanting,or else dont do it,i just lost 18mil on merchanting~~
