um if one of you dont mind but what is something that is really good to flip?

 

This is one of my first stabs at it.

 

I just finished dropping my Bandos GS. Went from like 30 mil to 80 mil. Thank you flipping?

 

I flipped my way from 4m total value, to over 500m total value. Took a year and a half.

Then I bought a phat, and so now I only have 15m cash + some items. Am currently rcing so I can have a nice cashpile to flip with again.

 

a good flipper will make 50k every mill invested .

 

How do you know when an item is at it's downpoint?

I don't completely understand either, but I think you just buy just under mid price, and sell it just over mid.

You buy a mass quantity of an item for market price. You then sell these items for max price. When you sell it at max, the market price rises making the items more expensive.

The best way to tell if an item is about to drop in price is to first check if it is being merchanted by large merch clans. If they are dropping it soon, it would be best to stay away from that item. Secondly, you can use the Grand Exchange website to look at the 30 day graphs. If an item seems to have reached a stable peak, you can predict that it will drops soon. This is the best time to sell. If the item has started to drop, sell it as fast as possible, or you risk a lower profit.

 

oh i see now well that seems easy enough but how would i know if a merch clan is merching the item isnt there like alot even if you say a Big merch clan but theres alot aint there?

Well, yes. That is why I would just suggest doing the graph method. It seems to work very well.

 

There are 2 simple types of trades technical and fundamental.

Technical trades are when you buy an item that doesn't change in value much, such as runes, at a low price and resell them at a higher price. This method is called flipping, since your not doing anything with the item just flipping it for a higher price then you bough it. This is refereed as merchanting in Runescape.

Fundamental trades are what i believe you got mixed up with caseyscoolerthanu. This is simply investing watching the grand exchange
graphs and watching when the item is at its lowest, buying it, then waiting till it fluctuates back up in price and reselling it. This is refereed as investing in Runescape.

It is fairly complex, but will start to make more sense with practice. Try to start with the item I told you about. It has a fairly good demand. Also, runes are very good. Astrals have a very big supply and can be flipped quite well.
