Everything made from scratch: The paper, the pencils, the wood..

Its kinda sucky but I really need some Cnc. I do realize the size is wrong. Its a test.

very nice mate i love the effect you have put on the paper and the wood looks pretty realistic i also like how you have put the lead in pensils yet again it looks very realistic i dont see anything thats wrong with it atm and i rate it 9/10 very nice job ;)

The green pencil takes some of the detail away from the paper I think. Try moving it down a little?

I like the green pencil there.

Seems a bit plain, yet. Add some more small touches. ie paperclips, sticky notes, various office tools. You could get creative with the menu and kind of, merge it into a compilation of sticky notes. Go look at your parents office desk and let your imagination rome free. :)

EDIT: A good way to organise your ideas is to sketch it out on paper first. Draw out where things may look nice, and erase and edit. Drawing on paper is much faster and user friendly than using a computer first off. A good presentation takes well planned thought and creativity.

I haven't seen you around in ages =o Last time i saw you, it was when you gave me cnc on one of my first sigs. Anyway, thanks for the advice, everyone.

Very nice details there, i believe the pencil DOES draw details away from the paper, was there a tutorial for making the pencils, paper, etc?

I'm sure there is a tut but I didn't follow any. It took me a long time to make it look alright.
