First RS07 rares next week.

Found this on RS forums. Anyone excited?

 

Not particularly. Most people will be waiting until the seasonal holiday events to get rares anyways.

They're dropping 1 item per world per location, and they haven't even said how long it will take for an item to spawn in another location after the first is picked up.

This is definitely good for keeping the items short in supply, but it's nothing for me to get excited about as I most likely won't be getting any items from the June drops.

 

this is bs lol, rares wont be called rares if people knew they are gonna become rares... defeats the whole purpose.

what they mean dropping?

 

1 item will appear in a random location on every world. When that item is picked up, an item will spawn at another location.

This is how various rares will be distributed throughout June.

 

they were called "rares" because they were discontinued and through people quitting\droping etc. they dwindled and became more and more rare.

depending on how often they re-release the rares this could be pointless to collect them.

 

So, its only 1 item per world per location. I doubt that I can get one myself as well. I could just wait for the holiday rares to come.

 

It will be during every holiday event, although I doubt they will have every item in the particular theme (santas and crackers in the same Christmas, etc) in each event.

With how many people drop out of the OSRS community, you can bet that a fair bit of rares will go with them. You can count on them staying uncommon for a great while.

So they're tradeable and not rare, interesting strategy.

 

They will be dropped somewhere in RS? I am not even going to give it a try then. Only if there's a bot for it :')

 

Has it been confirmed that they will be limited in supply? If there truly are a finite amount of them in the game I'd say that they will rise in price quicker than in the original RS if the RS economy works anything like an IRL market would (I have doubts that it does) due to people hoarding them and the incredibly high demand for them at an early stage.

Sounds like they won't be "rare" ever as they will continually spawn. This will simply mean they won't ever reach the extraordinary prices that made people covet them in the first places (lets face it, a lot of the rares don't actually look that good!)

 

Not discontinued, not interested. Jagex never ceases to amaze me on how poorly they handle community updates.
