First registered runescape player

[Uchiha_Sasuke]

The first registered user was Rab and Rab was a friend of Andrew and Paul, he wouldn't have web too lonely because people joined pretty fast, cause I remember there was something like 30k registered users after the first month.

[Dr.Dree]

the first player to register to rs was 'rab'

[Dr.Dree]

If i played rs back then i would've taken all the rare names, and sold it today

[Lym]

What most people did was probably train up their skills and gather resources.
Like how it should be today, but nope. We have this thing called The Lazy exchange.

[Rune Tycoon]

I know the account "Merlin" and a few others were in the top 30 first accounts.

[General_Kerr]

spartan 2 was registered before Spartan and Spartan 1

Fail.

[shawnwill1210]

rs was fun when you didnt know everything and you were constantly learning new things and new ways to train and new items.
I think it would have been a lot more fun

[Zefrot]

It would have been boring, he probably would of left the game in less than an hour.

[PrayerKid]

rofl ide stand aroud asking for phr33 st00ph pl0x rofl and then ide say halfing items to see if anyone would give me something hahahaha

[BARDIA SAEEDI]

ide no life bot.
99 fm in 2 weeks.

hax the game.

[belgium_007]

I would pay everyone a few dollars for all of their Partyhats and Crackers.

Haha So would I

[madz1234]

It would of been alot of fun thats for sure.

[Booze 4 Life]

When the game first came out, the whole of rs was pvp, you basically spent most of your time trying to get coins and getting them to a bank before someone could kill you.

[-x.]

I think it would have been a lot of fun being one of the first players. Everyone would be on the same level and there would be a much greater sense of community because everyone would be trying to help everyone else out.

[Delta Squad]

i started a few weeks after release, it was fairly well populated so idk what it was like to be on it the first day, could prob say you had a head start tho

[Mizoreofsnow]

If I was the first runescape player I would have looked around, saw little to no people, got bored and quit for a few months then come back

[i am teh pandah]

i woulda messed around with the j mods for abit

[TryHarderBro]

they woulda roamed tut island if it was around then for days

[I Got Munnyz]

I guarantee the first, second, third and probably up to 20-30 were Andrew and Paul's characters, testing it out, etc. If you mean who was the first player other than Andrew or Paul, it would most likely have been their close friends who were let in on the project. If you're talking about people who just joined to play a game, they really weren't first at all, and there was probably a large group of people who all joined close to the same time, so it's somewhat impossible to know/tell.

This sounds about right.
