First Earthquake

I just heard about this. My dad's friend was like freaking out over the phone lol. It sucks for those that are preparing for the upcoming hurricane and bam an earthquake shows up. x.x

 

Rofl, I was on Xbox with a friend from Jersey whenn it happened, he flipped his shit, funny stuff.

 

Wow, I've never been in that situation before I'd be terrified not knowing what to do except for go under a table or something.

 

this is detrimental news to me.. im in ohio and truthfully didnt feel a thing or evenknow about it till i seen the news.. but also last week one hit in colorado ... so yea.. shit is hitting the fan in the next few months i suggest everyone be prepared to fend for their lifes on the real.. I am.

I live in Newport news,VA. This shit actually scared the shit of me..... I just woke up about to get in the shower, sitting at my computer checking shit and all the sudden it felt like someone picked up the house and started shaking it. My computer did a 180 and my TV almost fell off the dresser. At first I thought it was just dump trucks outside because we just had a house built next to us, but thought about it and remembered they finished that house. Friend calls and goes "DUDE, did you feel that shaking??!?" LOL. When I check the news and saw it was a 5.8. My first experience actually feeling a earthquake but everyone has experienced one before on the east coast cause they happen all the time just not ones noticeable.

 

Was it really a "tremor" like some people are describing it as? I mean, we get aftershocks monthly where I live and in Christchurch, the center of the devastating earthquake which resulted in 200+ deaths, get aftershocks of this magnitude weekly...

 

It wasn't ridiculously bad but it was pretty damn bad. Especially since east coast doesn't ever get a Earth Quake.

 

I live in NJ and didn't feel it at all.

 

So am I, seems like everyone felt it BUT me.

Yeah it was pretty weird, I thought my house was going to tip over. I was on Xbox at the time talking to my buddies and then I was like what the heck is going on? Everybody in my party was like shocked. I'm from Jersey.

 

The world ending in 2012 is a bunch of BS. There are so many dates people predicted and it never happened. Some old geezer thought it was going to end this year and his followers sold all their shit, now they're homeless.

On-topic: I live in Canada for all my life and I have only experienced 2-3 earthquakes.

 

I'm in Ohio and I was working at the time, didn't feel a damn thing.

What is ACTUALLY going to happen in 2012 has nothing to do with the "world ending". Do some research on your own and learn what it really is before believing these hollywood films portraying 2012 as volcanoes going off everywhere and massive floods.

 

Do you remember when they said the world will end in 2000? Did it happen? OBVIOUSLY NOT. All I am saying is that people who believe in this type of stuff are a bunch of idiots. For all we know the world can end tomorrow, or maybe right now? WE JUST DON'T KNOW. I did not say I believed in this, and I have never even watched the stupid movie, lol.
