Well, because gas prices/car taxes are a bit higher here in europe thats why a lot of us cant afford to drive huge trucks.

1 gallon of gasoline costs us $6.85 + the insurance on a truck would be roughly 2000 euros/ year + tax for driving on the roads about 300€/year

wow, well i hear you there, we're at $3.40/gal but my truck gets 7-10 in town and maybe 15 highway and im basically on minimum wage for a little while longer so ive been lookin at a smaller truck like a 1/4 ton or a small honda but im 6 ft 4 inches lol, so its a bitch.

Diesel is currently ~$5.20 a gallon where I live, and I'm still hauling ass in a truck that gets 13.5 mpg and weighs 7000 lbs with no passengers and a half tank of diesel. Then again I barely drive 10,000 km /year so it barely even matters

one thing that bugs me though is Americans complain about paying $4.00 per gallon, like cmon lmao
