First "Black Market" Trade Experience

Back in 2007 sold my level 85 with terrible stats on eBay for like £90 rofl!

Got scammed!

 

I hate these. I only buy accounts from Staff and Super Trusted.

Though I bought my current Main from Ph0g and (even though he's bannned, he was the most legit seller i have ever bought from. Helped me recov multiple times when i forgot pass and such, and even gave me some starter cash.) Miss that dude

 

My first blackmarket experience was recent, just a few days ago actually. I was searching high and low through threads with members with multiple posts+Vouches. I settled on a few, which never contacted me back and after a few more days I went to a gold seller here just setting up. He now runs a pretty good business, his partner was nice enough to show me how to do future trades safely. I was so excited, I forgot to ask for proof of the gp I will was buying, he told me to trade him first for proof before I payed him. Valuable lesson I only spent 20 dollars but in the future I will buying more gold/quest completions.

i started back in the 90's when ultima online came out.
this was before all the RWT went overseas and outside of usa
to third world sweatshop companies.

me and friends would steal items ( with skills in game )
you could pickpocket, so we'd steal house keys rob their
houses, pk the shit out of them until they moved away
then place a house there and sell it on ebay for 50 bucks.
bigger houses were pulling in 100's.

you used to be able to do all these sales on ebay no problem.

people were selling UO houses, then accounts, gold, you name it.
asherons call came out and i made a kings ransom.
literally made thousands and thousands selling shadow armor,
and components for other useful things that were no drop.
people were paying 500-1000 for armor sets easy on darktide.

i think it started to go downhill when big companies like IGE
came in. isn't that always the case, big company ruins it.
now there's so many scammers and the transactions are
spread out overseas it's problematic.

even though things have changed for me, playing over
15 years i guess? damn thats a long time..
it's still fun. i made a lot of money off tf2 recently also.
selling unusuals, and rares, pulled in nearly 2 grand total!

i just wish it was easier to find honest traders/customers.

bought a level 108+1 for $85 bucks on ebay. it got recovered after 3 months sadly. Moral of the story people: powerlevel or bot your original accounts, people can just recover their account back. and also sythe.org looks like a site with pretty legit black market people.

 

My first experience was probably a pin trade... Then shortly after I started MMing and such.

Scammed by Miami for around 200 USD. Was buying Dung lvls.

 

got scammed because i was way to eager. lv 70 pure 85 range. this explains why i have given up on training range lol. :'(

 

Bought a pin from pinseller007 when I started out, but he`s banned now

 

Bought some quests off Barz, who was a big time quester, but was banned for I don't even know.

 

Sold plznate 100k bronze knives.

 

I used to RWT back in 04-05 to my irl friends who paid $5 for full rune if that counts...

Mine was buying 20M gold and I had 2 get refunded like 3 times cause I kept sending money as a payment, not a gift. I was a noob at the time . I had no clue. So all in all, I paid $80 for 20M gold and PayPal had a hold on $60 of mine. I hte how they place a hold for a week on a refund.
