I think Finn needs to be fired from his posistion. Not only does he abuse his power, it seems to have turned him from a nice person into an arrogant ass.

 

The anti-homosexual bigotry evident here doesn't help either of your causes, either.

 

I don't really see his anti-homosexual bigotry? He's just pointing out reasons of why people might not like Finn.

 

and i'm sure with your single post you have plenty of say in this matter. I'm sure Finn understands what's going on, and has realized and is confronting what is happening to him. He will choose the right decision, after all he's British.

He spends AT LEAST a solid hour a day on this website, and what gratitude is shown? explain how it's immature to delete posts that could cause potential confrontation? The forums is not the place for a conflict between two people, and if anything it's immature to make an elaborate post insulting someones abilities.

 

I haven't read many of finn's posts but the one that really pissed me off when finn said "Wash your fucking faces." In an acne thread, then a couple months later he comes back asking people's opions on how to get rid of them.

 

Well, it was a touchy subject for him. I mean...maybe he is new to his sexuality and expressing a lot of emotion for it.

Perhaps if you maybe told us, even if not in exact words, what you posted we could decide if it was abusing power, etc or not?

 

Agreed, Finn thinks his opinion is ALWAYS more important then anyone else. He also shows some narcissism in some sort of way in his posts.

Even though if he is an admin, and one of the most important people on Sythe, it doesn't mean he is highly respected by all. Obama isn't respected by half of the US anymore and hes one of the MOST IMPORTANT people in the world. CNN polls a while back asked the public and around 50-51%+ didn't like the way he is running this country.

I frankly don't care if you don't like me. I don't care if you think I am immature, either. I am who I am, and I am strong and sometimes abrasive because the world has made me like this. Most of the people that say they don't like me don't know me. If they want to be prejudiced, I care not to know them, either. I do understand their antipathy, but that does not make me appreciate the animosity, which is never directed constructively. Meeting fire with fire is futile.

In life, Viper, you will find that there are people whom you encounter who you very much dislike. I encounter them all the time, and have done innumerably even on this site. You have to learn to deal with it. Whining about it is simply an ironic illustration of your hypocrisy - the way in which you take to branding others immature when you are the one throwing tantrums.

I have few reasons to change who I am as a person for any of you, mainly because I like who I am. You may not. It is subjective. I'll leave the thread open if you want to express feedback on me. I am not infallible, but I will not concede that I haven't done a Hell of a lot for this site.

Finn's work for this site is not to be brought into the matter. He has performed exceptionally. I know Finn and I like and respect him.

However, I don't agree with the locking of Viper's last thread.

And, try reading the thread thoroughly, nobody has directly said that there's anything wrong with being gay. Viper simply stated that some people may not like Finn because of his sexuality. Heard of homophobia?

 

Viper's dislike of me has nothing to do with my sexuality. As far as I know, he isn't a discriminatory person. He doesn't like me for other reasons, which he is suggesting in this thread.

 

I wouldn't say "not everyone respects him" but he does think that his opinion is more important then anyone elses.

 

I doubt any of you have considered that, frankly, as far as Sythe.org goes, it is. I'm not asserting greater human worth, but, on this site, my opinion usually stands for more than that of other people, and this will obviously be reflected by my posts on the site, be it in denying disputes, overruling a Moderator decision, locking a thread, etc. Off-site, such as on IRC, MSN with friends from the site, Tinychat, etc., I have fun with people and everyone is of equal importance.
