Finding things to talk about - YouTube

[PrayerKid]

So i'v been wanting to start up a channel for CoD game-plays etc. and it would be easy to get game-play but the only problem i can see would be finding things to talk about.

If i were doing a live com while playing, how do i talk about things to keep people wanting to watch, but yet focus on playing the game still?

If i were doing voice overs on game-plays, i'd be able to be more concentrated on the commentary, but how do i figure out what i should talk about over those game-plays?

Any tips/help/info would be awesome

Thanks :3

They're a million CoD commentary channels out there. Do strategy games, or roleplaying games or something unique. Then you can talk about strategy or you can comment on the mechanics of roleplaying, pretty much what you're doing is telling everyone everything you're doing in the game. To keep it interesting most people are either really good and give you tips and strategies in game, or are really funny and keep you laughing continuously.

My 4 favorite LPers are:

Quill18
Mal-Bradford
JefMajor (One F Jef)
GrimmithR

Watch their videos. They're all really funny, and Mal and Grimmith are good at (most of) the games they play.

As Nero says, if you go with the flow you'll just down in a heap of other CoD crap, go for something that isn't as recognized.
