Basically the same as guitar hero, except you use a real guitar connected to your pc or Mac.

Scheduled to be released in late 2008. I'm defenently going to buy this.

oh my god, when i first saw this thread, i thought you were talking about rock band, but when i saw the video i was like holy mother fu--!!! This looks amazing, and the good thing is i play electric guitar too it looks pretty complicated though....

How does it look gay? Just because you suck at real life stuff and can only do stuff on the online world, it doesn't mean its gay.

Anyways, FINALLY!!!! Something that will actually teach you something!!! I hate Guitar Hero...its a freakin waste of time. It doesnt even have anything to do with a real guitar, and you wont even learn a single thing, even if you are the master of all masters on guitar hero. Plain sad.

Using a real guitar doesn't necessarily mean the game will be better than Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero was fun because of the toy guitar.

It looks good, but I'm so much more used to it going up and down instead of left to right. Also, who the hell is Gametank?

It's more fun due to the fact you don't need to learn how to play guitar to play music.

Alright now, lets not ruin something that is already fantastic. Think about it. If theirs 5 levels of difficulty on this game, that means guitar, ALONG with this game STILL does NOT teach you how to play real guitar.

Well most people who played Guitar Hero 3 played it because it was fun, and doesn't require you to know how to play a real guitar.

This game is only going to attract people who already play a guitar. And if you are already good at playing a guitar, then why would you wanna play on a pc? Wouldn't you want to get online tabs or sheet music?

Not seeing anything good about this game.

 

this is so fucking awesome. I would really get it when it comes out, either legal or (probably) pirated.
