Fighting Dharoks as a zerker

Been tired of the same rune plate loot, so i've began fighting non helm risking dharoks (easier than the ones with claws/ags too, i bring ~2m cash, and quickchat my hunter) with my 80/98/46 turm zerker.

What would be the best weapon to use, assuming i have access to chaotic maul, rapier, ags, claws, ss, etc... And any other tips?

 

Personally i RAPE dhers with Korasi, since the defence is not an issue.

 

do you carry a dds or whatever if they pray magic?

 

I recommend a chaotic maul with the granite maul to combo break. DHers keep their health rather low so one/two good hits with the chaotic maul should be able to take them down; if not, you've always got your two granite maul specs to ensure that.

 

been trying this out, harder to get dh'ers around my cb to fight though. tryin out ags + ags spec, although it sucks more than cmaul if specs fail

he uses rapier and brings both korasi and dds for specs and seems to do pretty well

 

If you are fine with risking, then bring AGS and Claws for spec. Spec with claws first, then switch to AGS and spec again. The idea behind this is so that your second spec comes fast, instead of the slow speed you would get when spec'ing with an AGS twice.

I like the Chaotic Maul idea but as you said, a lot of people won't fight against C Maul, and when they do they tele as soon as you start to get some good combos in =X.

 

Chaotic Maul > Gmaul

Or Rapier > Korasi

 

Whip to ags. Unless they don't pray mage, then use korasi.

 

Rapier then Korasi.

 

Korasi owns dharoks, it's the way to go magic based on such a heavy melee based defensive armour

Id use you chaotic maul, as with the low defence veng combos come often
