FFS JaGex.

[Shaaaaun]

So I have Rented a Blue Phat for 12 hrs and I was really happy and I went to the photo booth to take my picture and I can't take it beceause the hat was lent.

I don't know why that they have done that. The only reason I wanted to take it is to show off.

[old trinity]

They did it to keep people from showing off inaccurate wealth.

[New_kids]

Kinda sucks;/

[Realsies]

It's always been like this...Maybe you should actually, you know..learn about runescape..

Clever JaGex.

[Laptop65]

It's done so people can't pretend they own on if they take a picture on the forums. Otherwise everyone would be wearing party hats.

[No More Trolls]

Lolololol, the update happened like a billion years ago, and your just finding this out now?

/facepalm

[gibsondude101]

Yeah they don't want people showing off their lent phats on forums lol.

Your character must be so vein if it takes them 12 hours to take a picture they are happy with!

They did it so people can't appear richer than they are, it would be a gateway for scams.

[Tanksta v2]

Hahaha , why show off stuff you dont have? Lesson learned.

[Niini]

theres a photo booth in runescape lmfao?

Yes, south of Fally. You take a picture their for your forums avatar. Theres also one in Demonheim for the same reason.

[MrJerk]

lol, if that was possible everyone would have a blue phat on their photo.

On topic:
that sucks
next time, ask around first

[Sartana]

It's been like this since it came out, lol.

[Zerkerfist]

Jagex just wants to prevent people like you from doing the exact thing that you were trying to do, which is misrepresent yourself and your wealth. That idea has crossed my mind before but really its just stupid... every single person on the forums would be wearing a party hat.

[KayNits]

Get known, and have a friend let you barrow one!

[SmperFidelis]

It's been like this ever since it came out. It's mainly to prevent scams by showing inaccurate wealth.
