Few questions about RiD.

Does it use mouse? And is it possible somehow to run more than 1? Thanks

 

It does use the mouse but we have solutions to allow it to be minimized. We have streamlined versions of Windows XP and downloads for VMWare to allow running more than one instance of the RiD bot.

The site is currently under a DDoS so the bots may not be working atm and you will get a "Connection Lost" message when trying to run the bots.

 

Do I have to play like more credits or any other money based currency to run more than 1? And whats with the rid policy there? They dont mind if someone runs more than 1?

 

You per per hour of use, its fairly cheap at 8 cents an hour. $8 = 100 credits. The more bots you run the more credits you will be using per hour. Our policy is 1 account per person, but you can run multiple bots as long as it is not the same bot, aka can only run one MTA bot. That is to prevent goldfarming.

I think that in all honesty, you should likely just wait to see if any other clients pull through, it would be a lot more profitable.

 

Few people realize that there is actually a 2nd update that Jagex is waiting for the bots to start working again before they release it. If the cliented bots do get back up, they won't be back up for long

RID has a very good tutorial on how to set up VM on their forum.
Here are the two big updates that is coming.
1: Update to minimap, compas, uptext.
2: Unknown "Color bot nuke".


Update 1 might break color bots for a week or two, but depends on how the individual bots using them, some bots may not be affected at all..

Update 2 If its something like going only to open gl which will break simba's color detection and maybe Rid's as well (am not too sure), there is already a way to read color through opengl So we'll just gotta see...

 

powerbot/rsbuddy probably jealous your still up so they be ddosing lol..or possibly jagex ddosing because they dont know how to shut u down.

 

RiD analyzes the screen the same way a human does, so as long as the objects in game can be identified by a human, it can be by RiD. There's another interesting botting method possible through something called 'OpenGL Reflection' which could be something we see in botting in the future

More injection then reflection.
OpenGL & DirectX hacks have been around for years (NixCoders had a OpenGL multihack for WolfET back in 2007, this even supported linux!)

Although I'm getting pretty offtopic; "uptext" was one the main way for bots to make sure we where clicking correctly.

 

Rid can do about half of the randoms.

 

IF you want to use RiD for goldfarming, I highly do NOT recommend it, at $65 for 1000 cred, any bot amking 300-500k per hour will only give you about $15-20 profit in 1000 hours, don't be fooled and do your calculations.

 

RiD isn't meant for goldfarming anyways. You can only run one bot of the same type at any one time. It's more for individual players.

 

RiD's not for goldfarming, but as a bot for your own account to train etc, it's actually amazing.
If you really wanted to goldfarm with it, you probably could using the script that lets you do whatever =p But it won't be to profitable, and it would be a pain in the ass to set up and get it running in multiple windows

 

yeah RID is mostly for training with your main. great bot, i'd recommend it as its the safest bot in the market
