Eyes from amidst the trees stare as I pace, Never have I been so weary. I know it is you within those trees, I can see your dark hair clearly. I can see the moons reflection in your eyes, And the gentle curves that are your lips. I would pace until the sun would rise, If the only outcome be a glimpse. I would pace until my legs gave way, To retain this lovely sight. I would chase the hours of the day away, In pursuit of you, daughter of night.
