Feeling really suicidal.

Why? What's going on in your life?

Would help if we had details mate. Not gonna lie I've thought about it before too. Might be able to give you advice though on how to taper off the feelings of depression.

We're here to help. It's hard though without many details.

For example my feelings of depression largely stem from the fact 8 people that were pretty close to me have died since the Summer of 2013 - through various random freak accidents to drug overdoses to suicide.

I can maybe relate, or at the very least relate with battling depression and such.

First of all, if you're feeling really close to doing something or fear you might do something there are numerous numbers you can call to talk to someone immediately - they're listed in the sticky in this section if you need them.

Secondly, I would realise that suicide is not the answer. It is a long term solution to a temporary problem - it doesn't stop the pain, it only passes it on to someone else.

Please, please reach out to someone. There are loads of people I'm sure would hate to lose you and are willing to help. Reach out and realise that you're loved and there are people out there that will help you through your problems. They can all be dealt with and peace can be made.

Every Problem have a solution and its not suiciding.

If you have a problem tell it to your family and friends they are the one who will help you the most. keeping the problem alone wont help you. you need people to support you esp when you are feeling hopeless.

 

Please PM me if you haven't spoken to the others and I will happily listen to you and discuss anything and everything you need. I can completely relate to how your feeling, but I can promise you, suicide is not the way out. It's a cliche, but things can get better, and overall with time they will. Please know that there are people who care about you in your life and the community are here for you as well. I hope you find someone to talk to about the way you're feeling and things get a little bit better.Stay strong, you deserve so much more than the way you're feeling and I know you can get to a better place x

 

Suicide is not the answer. No matter how you think things through.

Don't worry, I'd be quite sure when I say atleast %70 of us here on Sythe have wanted to commit, or have thoughts of doing so. But you're wrong, where's killing yourself going to get you? I won't cure the pain, it will worsen it. Why? Because look at the wake that is left behind. Your parents, friends, family, everyone that knew you will be devastated because of this, and is that really what you want at the end of the day?

Pain hurts, but pain can also be a good thing. Especially once you grab that threshold of it. You can overcome it, learn from it. Life is filled with ups and downs, and will chew you up and spit you out at times, but you need to push on through.

Before suicide should even come into your head, you need to talk, talk to friends, family, people that know you, love you, and would want to help you through your problems whatever they may be. One decision can change everything my friend.

You've also got people here on Sythe to talk to, relate to, and would help you. Don't give up, you can't...

 

You know just sit back and relax. Think about how grateful you are to be able to live on this planet. There are children out there in the world starving to death, getting kidnapped and sold into human markets for god knows what reason. Just sit back and take a deep breath.

 

I was writing a message on here... I wanted to tell you about myself and how I want to die as well... I thought it would help you as it helps me... For me, just knowing that there's other people out there just like me helps me feel just a little bit better... But as I re-read the message, I realized I shouldn't post it... In fact, I should be posting a thread asking for help as well...
