Feeling of getting scammed.

So yesterday I along with a few others was scammed by a $25 donator 55+voucher. I was skeptical and should have gone with my gut... I guess no problem financially as I charged it back but the feeling was just horrible.

The sad thing is it is right before christmas and the money stolen was going to go towards my sisters flight (she helps kids with disabilities in remote areas)..

I want people to ask themselves "What if it was the other way round".. "How would I really feel" and "Who am i affecting and to what extent". After all it is pixels, and if people are developing habits like this now - what kind of platform does it lay for further personal development.

This goes out to the members who are not intentionally here just to scam (i.e not the sweatshop vermin). I want my voice to reach those members who are active community members who might have thought about ripping someone off but haven't yet or if you have to think about it again from a different light.

It's sad to see how many people get banned every day on Sythe.
Some people build trust and then just do one big scam.
Wish everyone was legit.

 

Ye i've seen lots of scammers he indeed, i have wanted to make a trade for 2 days now but i feel unsure still.
Maybe soon i will either post a topic on buying/selling or reply to some topic and hope for a good, clean and safe trade.
I'm new to posting here but i have browsed the forum for a long while.

 

Ive done a total of 4 trades now, and never been scammed but i think its insane the amount of banned accounts i see just looking on the fourms. Why would you ruin something either worked hard for bought with real cash? All it is are pictures on a game. If the game had a reset all you would end up with is people thinking your a dick anyway.

 

Scammed by a kid pretending to be Syler... mother... sonnva... $100 gone... what a punk. [email protected] wtf.
