    Summary: The FBI is accessing the DMV file records to hunt and capture fugitives using photo recognition. The ACLU had this to say:

    What do you guys think? Should it be allowed? They're capturing criminals but could this be a step towards something more invasive?

    for now its not too bad, because they are looking for high profile convicts, but it could continue and turn for the worse.

    I think its fine... Its an automated system, and they can find out all the info about you anyways so what does it matter?

    I think this is great. Not a privacy concern in my opinion. Maybe the privacy of criminals...

    right now its fine, because it doesn't really affect law abiding citizens too much, but what happens if the next FBI project to keep us safe reduces our privacy rights a little more, and next one a little more than the previous one?

    it seems, the more the law is allow to do, the less rights you have.
